Biblical Theme Groups
DRIVEN BY ETERNITY : Wednesdays, 7 PM, Main Sanctuary. Led by Pastor Tom. Join us for a time of corporate Bible study. In this series we will learn what Heaven and Hell will be like, according to the Word. We'll learn how our choices here on earth have a direct impact on how we will spend eternity. This message is vital in our day and age where people have such a casual attitude toward eternity.
DREAM WORKSHOPS: 1st Fridays monthly, 6:30 PM, Room D. Led by Dan McKenrick. This is a forum to cultivate our understanding of dreams and visions from a Biblical perspective. It will include the study of dreams and visions recorded in scripture, dream types, elements and symbols. We will also allow time to seek the Lord regarding the correct interpretation and application of dreams and visions of individuals in the workshop.
FOCUS: YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY: Wednesdays, 7 PM, Hospitality Room. Led by Dan & Krista King. This group is geared for singles and married couples, ages 18-32. We will have live worship, small group teachings, fellowship, and various other outreaches and activities. Join us as we grow in our relationship with God and others. We would love to meet you! Childcare and kids programs will be available.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Saturdays, 8 AM, Room D. Led by Tom Swartz. We will be studying “For Many Shall Come In My Name”, by Ray Yungen. Join us as we discover and learn how the New Age (Ancient Wisdom) movement is affecting society and most evangelical denominations today. Cost is $10 per person.
MEN’S PRAYER GROUP: Tuesdays, 6 AM, Hospitality Room. Led by Pastor Don. All men are encouraged to come for prayer & Bible study with Pastor Don.
MONTHLY MOMS GROUP: 1st Tuesday monthly, 7 - 9 PM, Room 2. This is a fellowship and encouragement group for moms of our Shepherd’s Hill Christian Home School. Call Elaine for more information.
NURSING HOME MINISTRY: Sunday afternoons, led by Willis & Susie Derstine. Have a heart to minister to others? This is a great place to share your heart with others and make a real impact!
ROYAL RANGERS: Wednesdays, 7 PM at the church. Led by Scott Woolverton. We are an exciting and vibrant ministry serving young men, grades 6-12. The mission of Rangers is to reach, teach, and keep boys for Christ, through the vehicle of camping & teaching practical life skills, with Christ as the theme. SINGLES MINISTRY: Saturdays (2 times a month), 6 PM, at Troyer’s Dutch Heritage. Directed by Gerry Gallicchio, 925-0987. All singles, 25 years or older, are invited to join “Single Purpose” for fun, fellowship, and ministry. We also meet for lunch at various restaurants after Sunday services and join other singles in our community for rallies and activities. SUNDAY SCHOOL & KIDS’ CHURCH: Sunday mornings, after worship, directed by Jerry & Shelley Krotzer. Our desire is to see children experience a true and loving relationship with their heavenly Father. The children will experience God through songs, creative lessons and crafts. Children are also involved in a variety of outreaches and activities. All children ages 3 - 12 years of age are welcome.
THE WEALTH OF ESTHER: Meeting regularly, in various homes. Led by Miriam Fulgencio. Women Experiencing And Learning Together Harmoniously. We’ll use the biblical figure of ESTHER (Encouraging, Sharing, Teaching, Helping, Empowering and Restoring). Call Miriam for schedule, location and information.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT KID'S CLUB: Wednesdays, 7 PM at the church. Led by Wanda Camantigue. Kids enjoy learning God's Word, singing, and working with their hands. Kids also enjoy the special activities planned throughout the year. We minister to girls and boys age 3 years through 8th grade. Call Wanda or the church office for more info.
WOMEN IN TOUCH:
Morning Edition meets Tuesdays, 9:30 AM, Youth Sanctuary. Led by Diane Lafler.
Evening Edition meets Tuesdays, 7 PM, Rooms A, B & C. Led by Sheila Henderson & Leslie Rowe.
Both meetins will be studying “Fight Like a Girl”, by Lisa Bevere. Lisa Bevere challenges the status quo that women need to fit into the role of a man, and she leads you in the truth of what it means to be a woman. Come and connect with other women and be refreshed.
YOUTH MINISTRY GROUPS: Fridays, 6:30 PM, at the church. Led by Pastor David & Sue. All youth are encouraged to come to enjoy worship, teaching, small groups, and our Game & Sports Area. Our emphasis is strengthening our foundation in Christ, and experiencing His presence. Join us also for great monthly activities!
Small Groups generally run 15-16 weeks in the Fall and Spring.
