Fall classes begin the week of September 5th
The Power of Prayer & Spiritual Warefare:
Sundays 9-9:45 AM September 12 - November 14
This 10 week DVD series by Dick Eastman and Dean Sherman is part of the curriculum from the International School of Ministry. These anointed speakers will help answer the many questions surrounding prayer and spiritual warfare as well as help equip you with effective tools for your life and ministry. Time will be given for group discussion and encouragement.
World Religions:
Tuesdays 6:30-8:30 PM September 7 - November 9
Our society is being influenced more and more by the many different religions that have come to the shores of America. These influences will be discussed by examining the tenets of Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Animism, and various cults. The beliefs and practices of these religions will be reviewed in light of the Bible as a comparison to Christianity. The student will also learn how to respond to others with the Word and heart of God.
Old Testament Survey:
Thursdays 6:30-8:30 PM September 9 - December 9
Is the Old Testament relevant to us as New Testament believers? If so how? This course will provide a big picture overview of the Old Testament and how it pertains to us today. The student will learn about the typology of Jesus Christ found throughout the Old Testament along with a look at the prophets and the prophecies recorded. The historical context will also be presented.
Jesus continually referred to the Old Testament verses during his earthly ministry. As serious students of the Word we too need to have to same foundation in our lives.
