Fortress Student Ministries
"A Place to Belong, A Place to Become!"
The name of our Youth Ministry is Fortress, led by Pastor Tom and Rhoda and a great team of leaders. Our vision is to help students to have an intensely personal relationship with God and to develop them into fully devoted disciples of Christ. Students meet on Fridays from 6:30pm-10pm for Games & Food, Teaching, Small Groups, and live Praise and Worship by our Youth Band. Young Adults also join us for teaching and small groups. Young Adults also have a monthly Home Care Group just for them. So if you are in the Jr. High to Single Young Adult age group, come and check us out. We also have great monthly events and outreaches. Training
Our goal at Fortress is not to entertain, not to just "keep the students out of trouble." God has already deposited within them the ability to dream big dreams, and we want to play a part in seeing those dreams become a reality. By partnering with parents, providing caring mentors, and using God's principles and anointing, we know we can make a difference!

Adventure
Want to do more than the average teen? Hook up with Fortress, soon you'll find yourself in places you'd never thought you'd be. You may be helping children in the village of another country, feeding the homeless in another state, or witnessing on the streets here in Sarasota. We're looking for youth who want to make their mark! Come join us!!
Special Teams
We have Special Teams for adults and students to join to help them in making a difference in this generation. Some of the teams include involvement in the areas of prayer, technology, drama, worship, student council, outreach, greeting, etc. We also have a team called The Core Team. The Core Team represents students and adults who are serious in their dedication to the Lord and the church. They are faithful to uphold Godly values and character. They are faithful in carrying out the team's tasks which include Bible reading, Scripture memorization, discipleship, prayer, serving, and outreach. Team members will be given a guide to use during their daily devotions to help them in the application of biblical truth.
